Tokyo Ghoul

Tokyo Ghoul is a dark Manga Japanese series, written by Sui Ishida. This work has been compiled into fourteen volumes and a 12-episodes anime TV series.

Ghouls are beings that look like normal people, yet they can only survive by consuming human flesh. They live in secrecy among the humans, to keep from being caught by those in authority. Ghouls never want their true nature to be exposed. These ghouls are equipped with superpowers that give them an extreme amount of strength. They have between 4-7x more strength in their muscles than a normal human being has.

Also, they have the ability to regenerate their body parts. A ghoul’s skin is so rigid that it’s resistant to the piercing of ordinary weapons. Ghouls have an additional organ within them, that manifests itself as a weapon when in combat.
